The suction roll (3) for a paper machine has a stationary suction box (7) and a rotating roll surface. As a feature; the suction box (7) is guided outwards on the drive side of the roll (3) through the bearing and the drive is integrated into the bearing.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Saugwalze, insbesondere für eine Papiermaschine, mit feststehendem Saugkasten und rotierendem Walzenmantel. Sie ist vornehmlich dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der feststehende Saugkasten (7) auf der Antriebsseite der Saugwalze (3) durch die Lagerung nach außen geführt und der Antrieb in der Lagerung intergiert ist. <IMAGE>
