Abstract (en)
The closer consists of a rail (1), which is mounted either in the door or the frame of the door and in which a slide (2) can move to and fro. A swinging arm (12), which is mounted on the door, is connected with its end to the slide. The slide moves freely in the guide rail when the door is opened. A friction pad (19) which is mounted on a wedge (18) is spring loaded so that the pad is pushed against the bottom of the rail. When the pad is moved in the closing direction, the friction force on the pad acts on the wedge in the same direction as the spring (20).

Türschließer für Schwenk- oder Schiebetüren mit einem Energiespeicher und mit einer Türbremse, die eine Gleitschiene 1 aufweist, die am/im Türrahmen oder im/am Türblatt angebracht ist und die einen Schlitten 2 gleitend führt, der in Türschließrichtung durch ein Reibgehemme mechanisch bremsbar ist, bei dem ein zwischen der Gleitschiene 1 und dem Schlitten 2 wirkendes Reibelement 19 die Bewegung des Schlittens 2 mechanisch kontrolliert bremst. <IMAGE>
