Abstract (en)
The device involves a cooking oven which can be closed by a door with a metal handle (17) extending over most of the width of the door. A grip surface (33,35), extending over at least part of the handle, consists of a material with a lower thermal conductivity than the metal. The handle is mounted at a small distance in front of the door. The handle can be attached to one end (7) of the door (5) and extend over substantially the entire width of the door whilst protruding in front of the door's front surface.

Um bei einem Gargerät mit einer Backofenmuffel, die durch eine Tür verschließbar ist, an der eine sich zumindest über einen Teil der gesamten Türbreite erstreckende Handhabe (17) aus Metall zur Betätigung der Tür befestigt ist, eine Bedienperson vor unangenehm hohen Berührtemperaturen der Handhabe (17) zu schützen, ist diese zumindest in einem Teilbereich mit einer Griffoberfläche (33,35) versehen, deren Material eine geringere Wärmeleitfähigkeit als die des für die Handhabe (17) verwendeten Metalls aufweist. <IMAGE>
