Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0791303A2] The insole has an absorbent layer which is positioned between the lowest, dimensionally stable layer (12) and the top, moisture-permeable layer (16). Each layer beneath the absorbent layer is permeable to liquid and has holes (13) enabling moisture to pass through. The number, size and distribution of the holes determine the permeability and elastic deformability of the layers. The absorbent layer extends over part of all of the insole (10) made of natural material such as cellulose. The layers (12,14,16) are fixture together by seams (18) and or by preferably spots of adhesive. A two-dimensional, plastics layer (12) is beneath the absorbent layer. The top layer is made of natural material, such as leather.
