Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0791539A1] The method involves enveloping the contents of the pack in at least one cut-out of paper, thin cardboard or similar packaging material. Individual cut-outs with stampings and folding flaps are fed in succession to a folding device, esp. a folding revolver. Each cut-out(10) is checked for correct shape while being transported to the folding device in flat form and faulty cut-outs are rejected. The cut-outs are checked by fixed opto-electronic monitoring devices (63,64) for correct shape and position of the unfolded flaps (19-24).
