Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0791756A1] The mine roof bolt has a cylindrical dowel (1) with at least one section with an anchor slot (2) extending longitudinally and a non-split sections. A stop collar (4) is provided at the free end of the non-split part. There is at least one expansion zone to cooperate with an expansion wedge (5) and which is open to the anchor groove for the dowel. The bolt has two expansion zones which are offset along the bolt, to cooperate with the wedge for a larger opening of the anchoring slot in a hollow material and a reduced opening in a plain material. The expansion zone for the hollow material is formed by a conical inner recess.
