[origin: DE19606883C1] The relay has a magnetic system (4) which includes a coil (41,42), a stationary core and yoke (43) and a pivoted armature (44) and a contact device (2) with an elongate contact spring (22) having a movable contact (29) and at least one contact carrier (25,27) supporting a cooperating stationary contact (26,28). An operating element (3) is coupled to the armature and the contact spring, the latter forming part of a switching spring (21) with a resetting spring section (23b) for the operating element lying in the same plane as the contact spring.
