Abstract (en)
The applicator brush consists of a cylinder of bristles radiating from a core in the form of a twisted metal wire spiral, and has at least one concave curved recess (107) in the cylindrical surface. The recess is oval, circular or elliptical in shape, or it can be made from two sections of a circle which intersect. It is located in a zone (109) of the bristle cylinder which is less dense than the two ends (112,113). The ends of the cylinder have alternating long and short bristles. The applicator brush can be attached to the inside of a cap which screws onto the neck of a cosmetic product container.

L'invention est relative à une brosse pour appliquer un produit cosmétique, notamment pour appliquer du mascara sur les cils ou une teinture sur les cheveux, brosse du genre de celles qui comprennent une âme (2) allongée formée par l'enroulement en hélice de deux branches d'un fil métallique (3), des poils (4) étant implantés radialement dans ladite âme et étant serrés entre lesdites branches torsadées, la brosse étant de forme globale cylindrique et comprenant au moins une encoche (7) concave, qui emmagasine du produit à l'essorage et est obtenue en tondant la brosse. Une telle brosse permet d'obtenir un maquillage à la fois chargé, régulier et allongeant. <IMAGE>
