The vacuum cleaner mouthpiece has an insert (7) fitted to the sole of the mouthpiece with two alternate surfaces (10) extending across the full width of the mouthpiece. The insert is rotated about its longitudinal axis to bring one or other of these surfaces into the working position, in dependence on the type of floor surface to be cleaned. Pref., the insert has a polygonal cross-section, with the rotation axis positioned eccentrically relative to the alternate surfaces, with a ratchet mechanism for securing it in each angular position.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Staubsaugermundstück, mit mindestens einem in der Mundstücksohle eingesetzten Zusatzteil (7), das mindestens zwei unterschiedlich beschaffene Seitenflächen (10; 11) aufweist, die sich über die volle Breite des Mundstückes erstrecken und verdrehbar am Mundstück angeordnet sind. Die Wirkungsweise des Mundstückes kann dadurch für mehr als zwei Einsatzfälle verbessert werden, daß das Zusatzteil (7) eine mehreckige Querschnittsform aufweist und die Drehachse (13) außermittig in Bezug auf die Seitenflächen (10; 11) des Zusatzteiles (7) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
