Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19607305C1] Composting method is claimed for organic wastes in a heap, which is at least partly open to the surroundings. The heap is aerated by introducing a gas with an oxygen content enhanced above that of air, with maximum levels of 30%, esp. 25-30%. Also claimed is an appts. to carry out the process. It includes a blower connected to a line, with a source of oxygen and means of introducing the oxygen into the line.
