[origin: EP0792960A1] A tape head (1) for a gripper loom in which a prefabricated crest (7) of any desired material provided with a longitudinal series of fixing holes (8) is fixed perpendicular to the tape head, along the longitudinal axis (3) thereof, by a thermoplastic moulding material (10) which surrounds most of the crest (7) and becomes inserted into the holes in the crest (7) and in the tape head (1). A method for forming such a construction is also described. <IMAGE>
