The pump includes a by-pass pipe closable by a valve (30) mounted in the cylinder block (7) in a chamber (29) which extends from the outer edge of the block at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the bores (9) into the space between the bores in the block. The chamber can be formed by a bore narrowing by steps towards its inner end. At its inner end the chamber can enter the suction pipe (23) which runs at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder bores (9) and across the longitudinal axis of the chamber (29) from the outer edge of the block between the cylinder bores in the block. A control piston is axially displaceable in the chamber to divide it into a top and bottom area.

Um bei einer Pumpe für ein Hochdruckreinigungsgerät mit einem Zylinderblock, in dem mehrere parallele Zylinderbohrungen angeordnet sind, mit einem mit dem Zylinderblock verbundenen Zylinderkopf, der mit den Zylinderbohrungen des Zylinderblockes ausgerichtete Bohrungen aufweist, die gemeinsam mit diesen jeweils eine längs der Bohrungen durch einen Antrieb axial verschiebliche Pumpenkolben aufnehmende Führung ausbilden, mit mit den Bohrungen in Verbindung stehenden Pumpenkammern im Zylinderkopf, die über Einlaßventile mit einer Saugleitung und über Auslaßventile mit einer Druckleitung in Verbindung stehen, und mit einer von der Druckleitung zur Saugleitung führenden, durch ein Schließventil verschließbaren Bypassleitung einen kompakteren Aufbau zu erreichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß das Schließventil im Zylinderblock in einer Kammer angeordnet ist, die sich vom äußeren Rand des Zylinderblockes senkrecht zur Längsachse der Zylinderbohrungen in den Zwischenraum zwischen den Zylinderbohrungen im Zylinderblock erstreckt. <IMAGE>
