[origin: WO9617044A1] The invention relates to stable thickened acidic aqueous compositions comprising a source of active oxygen or mixtures thereof as well as a quaternary ammonium compound together with a short chain amine oxide, i.e. an amine oxide having the following formula R1R2R3NO, wherein R2 and R3 are independently C1-C4 alkyl groups and wherein R1 is a C6 to C10 alkyl group. Said compositions are particularly suitable for the cleaning of non-horizontal surfaces.
