Abstract (en)
The boot has a leg upper (3) and a sole (2) which are pivoted together about a pivoting axis (4) corresponding to the ankle joint. The base and upper are fitted together at the lower edge of the upper which covers a base ring (7). A reinforcing element (5) which is inserted in the wall of the base extends from the ring towards the sole. The reinforcing element has a buttress zone (10) located under the lower edge (6) of the upper. The upper has a retractable support (12), fixed to the upper, which engages through a shaped end (15) with the buttress zone to lock pivoting of the upper about its pivoting axis.

La chaussure de sport à tige (3) et base de coque (1) articulée sur des axes (4) comporte au moins un élément de renforcement de la paroi de la base de coque (1). Elle se caractérise par le fait que l'élément de renforcement (5) présente une zone de butée (10) apte à coopérer avec un élément d'appui escamotable (12) qui, fixe en position sur la tige (3), permet de bloquer la tige (3) dans son pivotement autour des axes (4) dès sa position initiale ou après une certaine flexion, et ainsi de transmettre les efforts de la tige (3) à la base de coque (1). <IMAGE>
