Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0794066A1] The detector is for a belt printer with a cassette receiver cavity (2) into which a cassette can be inserted containing a belt to be printed. The printing button (32) and counter-pressure roll (6) can be brought to the service position ready to print. The detector can bring the printing button and the counter-pressure roll into connection in the service position when there is no cassette in the cassette receiver cavity. The printing button or counter-pressure roller may be fixed in a holder.
