[origin: EP0794070A1] The document holder (1) consists of a plastic cover with a first opening (3) in its upper edge, a second partial opening (4) in one of its sides, and a perforated strip (8) for filing. The second opening (4) in the side of the holder ends in a notch (9) or rounded surface which prevents the remainder (7) of that edge from tearing. A variant of the design can incorporate a second vertical welded seam adjacent to the lower end of the second opening, forming a space into which an identification label can be inserted.
