-A method for obtaining at least one opening tear strip in packages of the heat-shrink type using sheets of heat- shrink material provides to manage and vary the degree of weakening along the weakening lines (106, 107) produced on the sheet (102) of heat-shrink material in relation to the product to be packed, wherein provision is made to weaken with greater intensity the sections (A', C', E', G') of the weakening lines (106, 107) intended to undergo a build-up of material during the heat-shrinking phase, and wherein provision is made to weaken with less intensity the sections (B', D', F') of the weakening lines (106, 107) intended to undergo less build-up of material during the heat-shrinking phase. -A pack obtained with the said method and an apparatus for implementing the said method. <IMAGE>
