Abstract (en)
The tank comprises an internal envelope (1) and an external jacket (2) between which is located thermal insulation (3). The internal and external jackets are closed at their ends (4,5,6,7). The external jacket is made from several steel sheets (8 - 11) forming cylindrical sections. These sections are fastened against the insulation and joined by rivets. The external jacket steel sheets have two trapezoidal mouldings along one edge. These define with the lower covered sheet steel surface hollow spaces filled with a sealing joint. The steel sheets are arranged such that the rear edge (12) of one sheet covers the front edge (13) of the sheet located behind it.

La présente invention concerne une citerne, en particulier pour le transport routier ou ferroviaire de produits liquides ou pâteux ou pulvérulents, présentant une jaquette extérieure formée par au moins deux tôles mécaniques raccordées entre elles. Les tôles présentent le long d'une bordure au moins, au moins deux moulures (17, 18), le recouvrement entre deux tôles consécutives s'étendant sur une distance suffisante pour que les deux moulures (17, 18) définissent avec la surface de la tôle inférieure (21) des espaces creux pouvant être remplis avec un joint. <IMAGE>
