[origin: EP0794545A1] The circuit breaker has two arc contacts housed in the two bases. One is fixed while the other slides axially in the cartridge to connect in two contact regions. One of the arc contacts is connected to one end (2a,20a) of the turns (2,20) and the other end (2b,20b) is connected to the contact region of the other contact. The turns lie outside the cartridge (C), at right angle to the spacing of the contacts. Each portion of turn of which there are normally two has a length less than one complete turn and a group of such portions forms a complete loop.
