[origin: WO9614963A1] An abrasive tool, a cutting tool or the like, including a holder (1) combined with a rigid assembly (2) for positioning diamond grains (3) and moving in a predetermined direction to engage a material (16) to be processed, said holder (1) mainly consisting of a moulded, cast, injected or pressed material (6) and the diamond grains (3) being distributed at least in said direction relative to the assembly (2). Said assembly (2) has interstices or open pores and is at least partially embedded in the material (6) which at least partially penetrates into the interstices or pores to secure the assembly (2) to the holder (1) and transmit torque therefrom to the diamond grains (3).
