Abstract (en)
The light railway vehicle has a windscreen supported by modular frame cab with bolt on section. The cab is formed from a roof section (19) supported on two side sections (11,12) and with a low level cross panel (23) under the windscreen. The windscreen has a spherical profile for maximum visibility. The cab sections are reinforced by inner ribbing and are bolted to each other and to the remainder of the vehicle to complete the cab. The roof section matches the curvature of the remainder of the roof and the windscreen is supported by shaped flanges on the sections.

Bei modernen Schienentrieb- oder Führungsfahrzeugen, deren Führerstand-Stirnwand mit einem großflächigen Fensterausschnitt und einer sphärischen Krümmung ausgebildet werden soll, hat sich die Herstellung der Stirnwand (9) in herkömmlicher Weise als vorgefertigte Stirnwandsektion insofern als problematisch erwiesen, daß das gewünschte Stirnwanddesign in Leichtbauweise technisch nicht oder nur äußerst aufwendig realisierbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß besteht die Stirnwand (9) durch Teilung in logistisch günstig ausgebildete Bauteile aus zwei vom Dach (2) bis zum Untergestell (8) des Fahrzeuges reichenden Seitenteilen (11,12), einem die Seitenteile (11,12) im Dachbereich verbindenden Dachteil (19) sowie einem die Seitenteile (11,12) unterhalb des Fensterausschnittes (31) verbindenden Mitteilteil (23), welche als vorgefertigte Einzelsektionen durch die Montage am Wagenkasten (1) und miteinander zu einer Stirnwand (9) komplettierbar sind. <IMAGE>
