Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0795503A2] The method involves conveying the envelopes (6,6a) along an orientation section (50,50a) at a speed which is faster than a number of projections which are moving in the same direction. The envelope is held along and is drawn by its leading edge (6",6"a) until it is touched by the projections. When the envelope has been forced by the projections to adopt the correct orientation, the projections hold the envelope which then advances at the slower speed.
