Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0795645A1] The unballasted rail track is laid down in a trough shaped casing (1) having four vertical walls and a bottom and a rubber shock absorbing base plate (4) which is encastred on a rail support. The casing has a succession of bellows (2) enabling its dimensions to be varied by either expanding or contracting. These bellows are located on the vertical walls and on the casing bottom so as to enable variation of the casing length, breadth and height. The shock absorbing base plate width, which accounts for mounting play, is equal to the maximum possible width of the casing internal bottom after completely stretching the bellows.
