Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0795832A2] The method involves serially storing a number of digital radiological frames made up of digital information. Each number of stored digital radiological frames has an image portion and a non-image portion. The radiological image portion of each number of stored digital radiological frames is then identified. The non-image portion of each stored digital radiological frame is reduced so as to create a number of modified radiological frames each having a modified length and a modified width. The method further entails arranging the number of modified radiological frames relative to one another into a number of rows and columns of modified radiological frames occupying an area corresponding to the area of the display screen. The arranged number of modified radiological frames is then displayed on the display screen.
