[origin: DE19535104A1] In order to be able to mount solar-energy collectors on a roof, the invention calls for rails (16) having sections running at right angles to each other. In one embodiment, the collector (10) has a recess in which one section (17) of the rail (16) engages, thus preventing the collector (10) from slipping down the roof, the collector resting on a second section of the rail (16). In another embodiment, the collector has a projection which engages in the angle between two sections of the rail (16), the collector resting, at right angles to the plane of the roof, on another section of the rail.
