Abstract (en)
The chair is injection-moulded from a plastics and has a seat (2) and a back (7) which is supported by two arms or arm rests (8, 9) which are fixed to the edges of the seat. The seat back is connected to the arm rests by zones (8a, 9a) of reduced width which allow the back to pivot about a horizontal axis (X - X'). The rear ends of the arm rests are held up by supports (10, 11). The lower edges of the zones of reduced width have reinforcing ribs (12) which form extensions to a reinforcing rib (14) round the lower edge of the seat back. The upper edges of the arms also have reinforcing ribs (16, 17).

Fauteuil (1) comprenant une assise (2) et un dossier (7), ledit dossier étant supporté par deux bras ou accoudoirs (8, 9), fixés sur les côtés de ladite assise, et aptes à se déformer, dans leur zone de raccordement (8a, 9a) audit dossier, de sorte que ledit dossier est susceptible de pivoter autour d'un axe sensiblement horizontal (XX'), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des poteaux (10, 11) de reprise des efforts desdits bras sur ladite assise, lesdits bras étant pourvus à leur bord inférieur (8b, 9b) de nervures de rigidification (12, 13) qui se prolongent respectivement par une nervure (15) de rigidification de chacun desdits poteaux de reprise d'effort. <IMAGE>
