Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0796663A2] The atomiser has a spray head (10) and its drive shaft (16) is connected to a defined electrical potential, esp. earth potential. An electrical contact device (20) stationary w.r.t. the housing has a contact element connected to a potential source and also in contact with the drive shaft. The radial distance of the drive shaft from the rotation axle is greater than half the internal dia. of spray head drive shaft. The contact element is made of a carbon fibre bundle, or of another material of at least equal wear resistance, elasticity and ability to make contact to the drive shaft as a carbon fibre bundle.
