Abstract (en)
The turnable control element (10) is for selection of menus and/or functions, and is operated to activate an enter function. The element is cross-movably positioned within at least one plane, containing the element axis. The control element acts with contact elements (30). The contact positions of the control element formed by cross-movement, are associated with menus and/or functions. The control element is also compressible, and the enter function may be activated by movement or compression. The number of planes, and the number of contact elements located in these, correspond to the number of menus/functions. The control element may be the volume control knob of a radio.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Multifunktions-Bedieneinrichtung für ein Kraftfahrzeug zur Auswahl von Menüs und/oder Funktionen mit einem axial und drehbar betätigbaren Bedienelement (10), wobei eine Aktivierung einer Enter-Funktion durch Betätigung des Bedienelementes erfolgt. Um die Bedienmöglichkeiten zu erhöhen, wird gemäß der Erfindung vorgesehen, daß das Bedienelement (10) innerhalb mindestens einer die Achse des Bedienelementes (10) enthaltenden Ebene (14) querverschiebbar angeordnet ist und mit Kontaktelementen (30) zusammenwirkt und daß den Kontaktstellungen des Bedienelementes (10) bei einer Querbewegung Menüs und/oder Funktionen zugeordnet sind. <IMAGE>
