Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0796779A1] The method involves storage in formal language of a model of all foreseeable network states and events. Type-related dynamic data are represented in the form of Petri nets or their derivatives, and example-related static track network data in the form of double-vertex graphs. A first algorithm computes all possible sequence states and prevents triggering of a verifiable event when a forbidden state is involved. A second algorithm is brought in when an unacceptable event occurs, triggering verifiable events when these reduce the expected number of consequential forbidden states.
