[origin: EP0796964A2] The swimming pool shelter comprises a rigid greenhouse type structure formed by several adjacent arches (1) at least one of which can slide. A central inverted U beam (5) supports each half arch (3g,3d,1g,1d). The beam serves as a bearing track for sliding half arches (2g,2d,4g,4d) and support for a ventilation casing and electrical supply cables supports. The sliding arches fit inside fixed arches (1g,1d,3g,3d) and watertight brushes are located on each fixed arch. A watertight brush parallel to the top of the sliding arch seals the bearing track. Each sliding arch is equipped with a pair of sliding bearings and a pair of guide bearings.
