[origin: EP0796968A1] The mechanism has a locking mechanism for the bolt-driving bar. A separate door-arrester mechanism (2) is provided, having a two-position bolt in a pivoting bracket on the frame and sliding between the engaged and free positions. A linkage (4-7) from the locking mechanism is coupled to a pivoting release hammer opposite a release pin, so that after unlocking the bolt-driving mechanism the hammer moves the two-position bolt into the free position.
