The rack can travel along one or more rails (3). The rack can consist of a merry-go-round (1) travelling at right angles to the drilling axis and with radial compartments for the bars, enclosed by a casing with transfer slot. Sliding holders for the bars, typically opposite spring components, can be provided on the merry-go-round. The merry-go-round can be indexed for the distance between compartments by a rotary drive mechanism and held by a locking mechanism.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Magazin (1) für Bohrgestängeelemente (5), welches das Ansetzen eines Bohrgestängeelementes an ein im Erdreich befindliches Bohrgestänge auf technisch einfache Weise dadurch ermöglicht, daß ein verfahrbares Gestängemagazin in den Bereich der Bohrachse gebracht wird, um ein in einer Übergabe (9,10) befindliches Gestängeelement (5) in der Bohrachse (7) zu positionieren oder ein in der Bohrachse befindliches Gestängeelement in das Magazin aufzunehmen. <IMAGE>
