Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0796978A2] The rack can travel along one or more rails (3). The rack can consist of a merry-go-round (1) travelling at right angles to the drilling axis and with radial compartments for the bars, enclosed by a casing with transfer slot. Sliding holders for the bars, typically opposite spring components, can be provided on the merry-go-round. The merry-go-round can be indexed for the distance between compartments by a rotary drive mechanism and held by a locking mechanism.
