Abstract (en)
The actuator occupies a housing (4) arranged symmetrically about the longitudinal axis (10) of the cylinder head (3'). Each armature (11) acting on a valve (2) is positioned between two electromagnet coils (5) in the direction of the axis (6) of the valve. The outer walls (8a,8b) of the housing in the direction of the head axis (10) are in the form of contiguous segments of circular cylinders whose axes coincide with those of the valves. The walls (9a,9b) extending at right angles to the head axis are plane.

Beschrieben ist ein sog. Aktuatorgehäuse mit einem zwischen zwei Magnetspulen verschiebbaren Anker für die Betätigung eines Brennkraftmaschinen-Hubventiles. Die sich in Richtung der Längsachse des Brennkraftmaschinen-Zylinderkopfes erstreckenden Außenwände des Aktuatorgehäuses besitzen die Form eines Kreiszylinder-Segmentes und liegen im wesentlichen vollflächig am Zylinderkopf an. Die quer zur Zylinderkopf-Längsachse liegenden Außenwände sind eben ausgebildet. Hierdurch ergibt sich zum einen eine besonders kompakte Bauweise, zum anderen ist eine effiziente Kühlung des Aktuatorgehäuses über den Zylinderkopf möglich. <IMAGE>
