[origin: EP0797054A2] The air to be cooled is blown through the chambers and is supplied from a fan (50) through a semi-cylindrical air flow housing (60) conducting the air current and connecting the cooling chambers (10,20). A heat exchanger (30) extends over the two air chambers. The air to be cooled flows through the heat exchanger in a crosswise counter-current. The air-current housing contains sound-proofing elements such as an absorbent layer (70). At least one air conductor element in the form of a plate-type grid (40) is positioned on air inlets or outlets (11,23).
