Abstract (en)

[origin: DE4444803A1] The invention concerns a resilient curve element (1) made of plastics material and having longitudinal and transverse struts (2, 3, 4) for a lordosis support with adjustable curvature. The curve element comprises a tension bar (15) whose one end (23) is connected by a securing element (17) to the curve element (1) and whose other end is connected to an eccenter device for adjusting the curvature of the curve element (1). The curve element (1) has a projection (6) which is integrally formed therewith and is part of a housing (7) for accommodating and mounting the adjusting device. Guides, for the tension bar (15), which are integral with the curve element (1), are formed as bridges (14) over the central longitudinal strut (4) of the curve element (1), the bridges (14) being of different heights.
