Abstract (en)
The cigarette has a filter attached to the end of its section (T1) containing the tobacco, the filter being made in two sections (T2, T3), joined to one another and to the section with the tobacco by an outer sleeve (M1) with perforations (P). The filter section (T3) nearest the mouth has a lower resistance to draw, while the section (T2) between it and the tobacco has a higher resistance to draw. The two sections of the filter are joined together end to end with no gap between, and the portion of the filter after the perforations is surrounded by a thick porous sleeve (G1) impregnated with aromatic substances. The second portion (T3) of the filter is made from a material such as cellulose acetate and has a negligible tar retention capacity, while the first section (T2) is of paper and has a high tar retention capacity.

La cigarette selon l'invention comprend un filtre aromatisé par le gainage et comportant, côté bouche, un tronçon de filtre (T3) à faible résistance au tirage et, côté tabac, un tronçon (T2) de forte résistance au tirage, ces deux tronçons (T2, T3) étant disposés bout à bout sans intervalle, au moins le tronçon (T3) situé côté bouche étant entouré par un gainage poreux épais (G1) chargé de substances aromatiques, tandis que le gainage d'assemblage (G2) et la manchette d'assemblage (M1) sont perméables à l'air au moins au niveau de la jonction entre les deux tronçons (T2, T3). Cette cigarette peut présenter un rendement en goudron très faible (< 1 mg) et présentant cependant une bonne résistance au tirage et un goût sensiblement constant. <IMAGE>
