The invention relates to a process and a device in which better atomisation of the liquid extinguishing agent (water) is attained and the spread of the drops is extended by the admixture of preferably liquid inert gas at increased pressure in the pipework using a mixing device.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung, bei der eine verbesserte Verdüsung des flüssigen Löschmittels (Wasser) und eine größere Wurfweite der Tropfen durch Zumischung von Inertgas unter erhöhtem Druck im Rohrleitungssystem unter Verwendung einer Mischeinrichtung erreicht wird.
