Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0798419A1] The roadway is assembled from modular components made of extruded aluminium and profiled for load carrying. The sides of the roadway are fitted with handrails (3) mounted on supports (2) all of extruded aluminium. The roadway sections are constructed from sub-sections welded together into self supporting structures. The sections are joined by cross bolts through interlocking edge profiles, with the interlocking profiles comprising tooth shaped edges.
