Abstract (en)
The setting device uses a controlled setting element (14) for adjustment of the camshaft (11) via a drive wheel (13) using intermeshing pairs of cogs (15,15' ; 16,16'), with a stop (20) defining a reference position for the engine. The exact angular positioning of the setting device during the assembly of the engine is facilitated by an electrical or electronic signal device (21) indicating the stop position of the setting device upon contact with the latter stop.

Eine Stellvorrichtung zur relativen Winkelverstellung einer angetriebenen Nockenwelle einer Brennkraftmaschine umfaßt ein über Verzahnungen ein Antriebsrad mit der Nockenwelle drehfest verbindendes, gesteuert/geregelt verlagerbares Verstellelement, das in einer Maschinen-Referenzstellung einem Anschlag der Stellvorrichtung zugeordnet ist. Zur exakten Drehlagenzuordnung der Stellvorrichtung zur Nockenwelle bei einer Montage ist in einer montageabhängigen Referenzstellung der Brennkraftmaschine eine die Spät-Anschlagposition des Verstellelementes am Anschlag anzeigende Signaleinrichtung vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
