Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0798756A1] A breakable mechanical link lies between the drive plate (16) and a small rod (56) coupled to a first lever (20) with the means (22) to transmit position or control information. The link is controlled by a release lever, driven by the control mechanism (40). A second means acts on the release lever to transmit energy or control information. The abutment (70) is separated with respect to the axis (42) of the contact arm (12) by a first radius, R1, and from the pivot (14) on which the plate rotates by a second radius, R2. The difference in radii produces an amplified angle of opening of the contact arm which is greater than the angular path of the plate.
