The converter housing (10) has a base part receiving the electronic components and a termination element (14) with a cable guide (46) for reception of at least one electrical connection cable. The base part and the termination element are positioned vertically relative to one another, with the base part having a rounded end face (18) on the opposite side to the termination element, with one of the planar faces (22) of the base part lying in a common plane with the corresponding surface of the termination element.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Konvertergehäuse 10, insbesondere für einen elektronischen Konverter für Halogenlampen. Das Konvertergehäuse 10 weist dabei einen Gehäusegrundkörper 12 zur Aufnahme von elektronischen Bauelementen sowie ein Abschlußelement 14 mit einer Kabelauflage zur Auflage von mindestens einem elektrischen Verbindungskabel auf. Der Gehäusegrundkörper 12 und das Abschlußelement 14 sind dabei vertikal zueinander angeordnet. Der Gehäusegrundkörper 12 weist zudem an dem dem Abschlußelement 14 gegenüberliegenden Ende eine zu seiner Unterseite hin abgerundete Endfläche 18 auf. <IMAGE>
