[origin: WO9715910A1] A packaging (10) for a solid or pasty material, particularly suitable for distributing a product sample for promotional purposes, e.g. by insertion into a publication, is disclosed. The packaging comprises a generally plate-like holder (11) comprising at least one central recess (16) in the upper surface (14) of the holder (11); a tray (18) shaped to fit into the recess (16) and containing the solid or pasty material (20); means (22) for attaching the tray (18) to the holder (11); and a foil seal (26) positioned on the upper surface of the holder (11) for sealing the recess (16) containing the tray (18).
