Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0799938A2] The trailer has a frame (1) with an extension (8) with which it is attached to the towing vehicle. A cylindrical brush (3) is mounted in the frame so that it can pivot, and move in an arc-shaped slot (18), about the centre of driving pulleys. The brush is mounted in the trailer so that it lies at right angles to the direction of travel of the vehicle. The pulleys drive the cylindrical brush via V-belts (21) and are themselves driven from a power take-off of the towing vehicle. A container (5) for the swept up debris is also mounted.
