Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0799944A2] The profiled bars (2) are connected to other profiled bars using screws (8), whose threads can be screwed into a channel profile (7) which is transverse to their axes at every point along the longitudinal axis of the channel. The channel profile may be slid into a groove (4') in a profiled bar, and one part of the cross sectional area of the groove may form supporting surfaces for the channel. The channel may have a U-shaped profile, and may have longitudinal ribs (9) which are arranged on opposing inner surfaces, and which are dimensioned so as to form female thread ribs for securing the thread of the screw.
