The door bolt is a two-piece, spring-loaded bar, hinged near the end engaging the catch plate on the door frame. A lever system, hinged at the centre, holds the nose of the bolt to lock against the catch plate in the surrounding frame, but when pivoted allows the door to be opened. The door (1), in a frame (2), is locked when closed by the bolt (14) being deflected against a spring (7) and the nose section (12) engaging the catch plate (6). The nose is pivoted (18) but is unable to swing due to a pair of levers (16,17) in a knee-shaped form with pivots (18) being in a straight configuration, held by a locking bar (19). Remote displacement of the locking bar allows the lever central pivot to rise and the nose to swing when the door is pushed in the direction A.

Das vorliegende Schloß eignet sich insbesondere als Türschloß zum Verriegeln einer Tür 1 an einer Türzarge 2. Anstelle der Falle oder des Riegels eines konventionellen Schlosses ist eine Riegelanordnung 10 vorgesehen, die einen Riegelkörper 14, drehbar daran angebracht eine Schließnase 12 und einen Kniehebel 16, 17 umfaßt. Bei gestrecktem Kniehebel wirkt die Riegelanordnung als steife Struktur, die sich konventionell betätigen läßt. Bei elektromagnetischem Entfernen eines Arretierstifts 19 kann der Kniehebel 16, 17 einknicken und die Schließnase 11 schrägstellen. Die Tür läßt sich dann einfach aufdrücken oder aufziehen. <IMAGE>
