Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0800053A1] The test unit, designed to determine the correct functioning of a launch tube (2) with a system (5) for feeding electricity to the missile to fire it, consists of a housing (6,7,8) in the shape of a missile, equipped with electrical energy receiving elements (9) to interact with the feed system (5) and containing an electronic tester (12). The electronic tester (12) contains at least one capacitance which is charged with electricity by the launch tube and a measuring circuit to verify that the current received from the launch tube for firing is above a minimal intensity for a minimum period of time. A second circuit verifies that the electricity received from the launch tube outside the firing period is below a set maximum level.
