The device includes the permanent magnet (31,49) which is coupled to the free end of the movable contact member (24) at least on reaching the fixed contact member (29) and the end position. The sensor (33) which detects the permanent magnet (31) is associated with the corresponding fixed contact member (29). On reaching the end position of the movable contact (24), when the permanent magnet is in the active region of the sensor, the sensor (33) generates a signal. Preferably the permanent magnet (31) is at the free end of the movable contact and the sensor is inside the fixed contact. The movable contact may control the permanent magnets via an intermediate level or rod. The sensor may be a Reed contact arranged in a bore in the fixed contact.

Es wird eine Einrichtung zum Detektieren des Erreichens der Endstellung eines beweglichen Kontaktstückes (24) in einem zugehörigen festen Kontaktstück (29) eines Schalters für eine Mittel- oder Hochspannungsschaltanlage. An dem freien Ende des beweglichen Kontaktstückes (24) ist ein Permanentmagnet (31) befestigt, der mit einem Reed-Kontaktschalter (33) zusammenwirkt, wenn das bewegliche Kontaktstück (24) seine Endstellung, in der der Permanentmagnet (31) auf den Reed-Kontaktschalter (33) einwirken kann, erreicht hat.
