Abstract (en)
The contact spring (3") incorporates a fixing tab (30) for security within the insulating housing (2"). It provides a connection (10) for the stripped end (12) of an insulated cable (11), and a number of socket contacts (24) for bridging contact pins (66). The openings of the socket contacts lie in different planes and the directions of entry into two neighbouring sockets are at right angles to each other. Each socket has a diametral slot, one end of which opens into a hole (60) through the spring.
