Abstract (en)
A method for bending a straight punching strip (10) with a blade section (14), about an axis (11) oriented perpendicular to the strip length direction, comprises carrying out a plastic deformation of the strip, prior to the complete bending, so that in the bending zone it protrudes by a predetermined amount (a) above the strip height, with (a) chosen equal to the fall in the strip height in this zone caused by the bending action. Also claimed is an apparatus for implementing the above method.

Bei dem Verfahren zum Biegen einer Bandstahlstanzlinie (10) mit einer stanzseitigen Schneide (14) für ein Bandstahl-Stanz- und Rillwerkzeug wird zur Vermeidung einer Absenkung im Bereich der Biegung ein Druck auf die Bandstahlstanzlinie (10) im Bereich der Biegeachse (11) ausgeübt, wodurch eine plastische Verformung der Bandstahlstanzlinie (10) bewirkt wird, die die Schneide (14) im Biegebereich anhebt. Die plastische Verformung kann vor, während oder nach dem Biegevorgang erfolgen. Das Verfahren ist bei allen Biegearbeiten an Bandstahlstanzlinien anwendbar. <IMAGE>
